Any handgun, semi-auto or revolver, that you would feel comfortable using to defend your family. Weapons will be safety checked at the class to insure proper function and reliable safety during firing.
50 rounds of handgun ammunition.
No holster is necessary. In a home defense situation, you would probably not have a holster on and/or time to put one on. We will do all our work from the “Low Ready” handgun position.
Eye and Ear protection is provided by Trident Firearms if you do not have your own. Eye protection MUST be full wrap around style.
A ball cap or similar type cap with a brim is REQUIRED.
Good footwear that offers ankle support is recommended. No open toe shoes, sandals, etc. Knee pads are always a good thing.
Long pants, no shorts, we recommend cargo style pants, 5.11 type or military BDU with the bellows pockets to hold additional rounds.
